Ordinations and Installations
On February 11, 2023, the Rev. Eric Codding and the Rev. Martin Rhodes were ordained to the priesthood at Church of the Incarnation in Harrisonburg, VA.
On February 12, 2023, the Rev. Trevor Spencer was installed as the new rector of Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church in Norfolk, VA.
On March 12, 2023 Ryan Willers was ordained to the diaconate at Church of the Apostles in Bridgeport, CT.
On March 18, 2023 the Rev. Eisa Kodi and the Rev. Suliman Kuku were ordained to the priesthood at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Buffalo, NY.
The Rev. Eisa and the Rev. Suliman are serving emerging Sudanese missions in Buffalo, NY and Rochester, NY and providing support to other emerging Sudanese missions within DCOH. The Rev. Bryan Wandel is working with them on the ground and they are also supported by the Very Rev. Brian Murphy, Dean of the Northeast Deanery. When he is in the country, Bp. Andudu will work with Bp. Steve to provide episcopal service.
Gospel and Culture Symposium
May 17-19, 2023
Attention DCOH Clergy!
Please join us for a Gospel and Culture Symposium May 17-19, 2023 at Rosyln Retreat Center in Richmond, VA.
The symposium will be structured around a blend of presentations, seminar-style discussions, and informal conversations over meals and around the fire pit. The symposium is an opportunity for priests and deacons to gather together, to help each other think theologically and practically about matters of pressing concern.
This year's topic is Gender, Sexuality, and Identity.
This event is only open to DCOH clergy.
