Rev. Josh Barfield
Matthew 25 Coordinator
Josh grew up in eastern North Carolina and now lives in Durham with his wife, Camille, and two kids, Asa and Cece. He earned his M.T.S from Duke Divinity School and served as pastor before his family made Holy Trinity and the Anglican Church home in 2016. Josh serves Holy Trinity as Curate (much like an apprentice/associate pastor) and helps lead local outreach efforts. Along the way, Josh has worked non-profit home rehab, taught Bible and religious studies, and completed a chaplain residency working in mental illness and pastoral care. Central to this work is Josh’s calling to walk alongside people in crisis and extending God’s love through Scripture and the Lord’s table. Josh loves to cook, share the occasional whole-hog BBQ with others, sitting on the beach with Camille, woodworking, picking a different NBA team to root for each year, and watching movies and arguing about them.
