Are you a leader? If you have clicked this far, you probably are. Women's leadership takes many forms: clergy, church staff, ministry leader, spouse of clergy, small group leader or host, church team leader, and informal leadership too.
The Women's Leadership Development Initiative promotes the full expression of the Imago Dei across lay and ordained leadership by identifying, equipping, and supporting women leaders throughout the Diocese of Christ Our Hope.
We are excited to have Amelia Blanchard sharing with us on our upcoming Quarterly Call! All ladies of the diocese are invited to join us on zoom to hear from Amelia, hear more about this diocesan initiative, and spend time connecting with other women in breakout groups.
Amelia serves as Church of the Redeemer’s Worship Arts Director. After graduating from Wheaton College in 2020 with a degree in Christian Formation and Ministry, she moved to Greensboro to participate in the Greensboro Fellows Program. She loved Church of the Redeemer so much that she decided to stick around after graduating from the program and soon after began working on staff as part-time Assistant College Ministry Director and part-time Music Director. She is now their full-time Worship Arts Director. Amelia grew up in a family of professional musicians and has participated in a wide variety of musical and artistic ventures over the years. She grew up leading musical worship on teams with her family and has since led worship at various churches and youth gatherings (including Camp Booyah!) across the country. Amelia is passionate about ministering to the Lord through song and comes alive creating space for people to encounter God. She loves getting to pair together her background in spiritual formation and relational ministry with her love of musical worship.
Our goal is to equip women for leadership in its many forms. We host regular on-line calls for current and future women leaders of our diocese. These calls often include an encouragement, a particular leader’s story and thoughts on how God has called her to lead, small group break-out time for discussion, and prayer. They are meant to help connect the women of our geographically disparate diocese together for encouragement, edification, and the building of relationships.
The Women's Leadership Development Initiative is led by lay and ordained women from across the diocese.
We'd love to hear form you!
Thanks for connecting with us! A member of our team will reach out to you soon.
