A Summer Camp with Anglican Rhthyms: Anchor Lines 5-5-26

May 06, 2026

Not all summer camps are the same—what if your student experienced one rooted in Anglican rhythms, helping them to grow in Christ and stay connected to Him long after camp? Camp Booyah is an Anglican summer missions adventure camp for rising 7th graders to graduated high school seniors.Throughout the week at camp, campers serve those in need in the local community through a variety of mission projects. It is full of surprises, competitions, and mountains of memory-making activities. Catch a taste of the experience here in this video:

Camp Directors Melissa Lewkowicz and Ray Inman have opened registration for FOUR Camp Booyah summer experiences. This summer is especially exciting as Booyah leans into a more intentional, age-specific discipleship—and even expands into a brand new location in New Hampshire!

It is the desire of DCOH and other dioceses within ACNA to see your church and students as part of what God is doing this summer, but spots are limited so we strongly encourage you to register early. Please continue to pray for our students, leaders, and the life-changing work the Lord is preparing even now.

Easter Across Our Diocese

What a blessed Holy Week and Easter across the Diocese of Christ Our Hope! In this video montage put together from your photo submissions by the communications team volunteer, Lisa Tanico, we see the amazing work God is doing: adult baptisms, infant baptisms, confirmations, fires burning at the start of Easter vigils, joyful worship in song, places of worship adorned with flowers, celebrations of the Eucharist, feasts of celebration, displays of art, Easter egg hunts, and full sanctuaries as we worship and celebrate the risen Lord Praise God!

Anglican Studies Residential Weekend

Over the past weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia, participants in the Sacramental Theology course gathered under the tutelage of Rev. Fitz Green and Rev. Canon Deacon Rachael Green. This course explores the sacraments and their role in the life of the church through the lens of Scripture, the church fathers, and the Anglican formularies. Along with developing an Anglican sacramentology, the course also will provide practical instruction in how the sacraments are celebrated and administered in the church.

Above and beyond the excellent teaching, the residential weekend provides an invaluable opportunity to build relationships with like-minded students across the diocese. One student noted how encouraging it was to see the depth of insight and heart for the Lord coming from such a wide range of ages. “It is so heartening to work through together the questions we all have as we are on this Anglican pilgrimage. Some of us are newbies to the Anglican way of doing things while others have been in a liturgical tradition for a long time. Hearing the fresh questions and mature insights from each other makes for a dynamic experience. Oh, and the food is good!”
